Request New P&G Free Samples and Coupons

Some of the best coupons I receive do not come in the Sunday paper, but rather directly from the manufacturer in the mail.  I love seeing ads and flyers in my mailbox – most of the time it means there is a high value coupon inside!

P&G allows you to request not only coupons but FREE samples.  Remember, a sample of the product works just as good as the full size.  Free sample = free use!

You will need to register with P&G’s website (do not worry this is also free).  Visit the website here to get signed up and request your free samples and coupons.

P&GbrandSAMPLER® allows one order request per household address per quarter. Ordering periods are generally between January 1 and March 31, April 1 and June 30, July 1 and September 30 and October 1 and December 31. Sample and coupon selections change throughout the year.

Walgreens Matchup: Week of 1/8

Below is a list of the matchups I plan on taking advantage of this week at Walgreens.  This list is not comprehensive of all the deals at Walgreens (I am only listing those that I plan on taking advantage of), so always make sure to take a peek through the Walgreens ad for any additional savings you might want to make!

Exact pricing will vary from store to store, from region to region, but this should give you a good idea on items that you can stock up on.

I have broken my matchups into the different transactions I will complete.  Follow the same plan for the same savings!  Don’t worry about having to do all of these transactions at one time (if that does not appeal to you), break them up during the week to make them easier on your shopping plan.  One main reason I break my shopping trips up over the week is that I will discover that my Walgreens is already out of stock on one item, so I will readjust my shopping plan as the week progesses.

What are Register Rewards?  Check out Walgreen’s webpage here.  Just remember that you are limited to only one register reward per offer (meaning, even if you buy three of an item offering register rewards for that week, you will only receive one register reward).

To read a complete list of coupon matchups for this week at Walgreen, make sure to head on over to Wild for Wags.

Couponing Abbreviations

When I first started couponing, I had a really hard time trying to figure out what all the abbreviations I was seeing meant.  Here is a handy list for you!

  • B1G1 = Buy one product and get one free (also called BOGO)
  • exp = expiration date of the coupon
  • MIR = Mail in rebate
  • OOP = Out of pocket cost (meaning what you would pay after coupons)
  • SS = Smart Source insert *The dates with abbreviations is the date it was in the Sunday paper.
  • RP = Red Plum insert *The dates with abbreviations is the date it was in the Sunday paper.
  • P&G = Proctor and Gamble insert *The dates with abbreviations is the date it was in the Sunday paper.
  • ECB = Extra Care Bucks at CVS
  • RR = Register Rewards at Walgreens
  • SCR = Single Check Rebate at Rite Aid
  • WYB = When you buy

Hot Deal on Neutrogena Makeup Starting 1/8 at Walgreens!

Normally I would wait to tell you about a deal such as this for the week, but I want to make sure you get all of the coupons printed before they are gone!

Starting on 1/8 at Walgreens, Neutrogena products will be buy one, get one for 50% off.  There are a few coupons you can stack along with a rebate offer from Neutrogena to get a REALLY good deal on makeup — I personally need new mascara, so I will be stocking up for sure!

Here is a deal idea for you:

Buy (2) Neutrogena Eye or Lip Product priced at $6.99

B1G1 50% OFF Total = $10.49

Use (2) -$2/1 Neutrogena Cosmetic Item (subtracts $4)

Use (1) -$2/1 Neutrogena Lip & Eye Cosmetics (Exc. Removers) (5773) from the Walgreens January Coupon Booklet (You only need to use one of these coupons, but it will subtract $4, $2 for each item)

Total = STARTING AT $1.25 EACH!

You’ll want to look for clearance items too that might even be less and make this deal even sweeter!

PLUS there is a NEW rebate for $10 WYB $30+ in Neutrogena products HERE that you can submit for! The rebate is for cosmetics and other Neutrogena items and you must make your purchases between 1/8 and 2/8.

Now go print off those coupons!  I was able to print four of the Neutrogena printable coupon as I have two computers at home.  I would suggest asking a friend to print you off a couple if you only have one computer so that you can buy enough of the makeup to submit for the $10 rebate!

(Thanks, Wild for Wags)

Free L’Oreal Studio One Products at Walgreens!

I have an amazing deal that you should probably add to your shopping list for Walgreens.

Select L’Oreal Studio One products are now on clearance at Walgreens.  At my store, they are on clearance for $2.59 each (regularly priced $4.99).  Make sure to look for those orange clearance stickers to make sure you have the right products!  Don’t wait too long on this deal, either.  Most of the clearance products were almost sold out at my store!  I did score free mousse today, however.

Buy one L’Oreal Studio Line clearance styling product, $2.59 (there may be some shampoo/conditioner products on sale as well so check those too!)

Use $1/1 L’Oreal Studio Line Styling product (redplum.com) — I did have some issues trying to print this coupon, but just keep trying, eventually it will print!

Use $2/1 L’Oreal Studio Line Styling product from the Walgreen’s January Coupon booklet (coupon booklet found in-stores, usually right when you walk in, the coupon was on page 30 in my booklet)

Final price:  FREE

(Walgreen’s does not pay “overage” as you would have hoped for with these stacked coupons.  So the coupons will just adjust down in price when scanned….but make sure to give them the manufacturer coupon first and THEN the Walgreen’s coupon)

Note:  Walgreens requires that you have the same number of items during checkout that you do number of coupons.  Therefore, in the deal above you will need to purchase some additional items (or “filler” items, as couponers call them).  Since you are only purchasing one physical product, but would be using two coupons, you would need to add one additional “filler” item to your checkout.  Walgreens always has items on sale for around $0.39 (just check the ad), otherwise a lot of the time you can find single pieces of taffy right at the checkout for $0.10 each or $0.33 each.
